Knock On Wood is a small, family-owned business located in the heart of Historic Downtown Manassas. From our handmade wood flags to our beautiful repurposed furniture, Knock on Wood has something for everyone. Our focus is on offering quality, handmade pieces at affordable prices. We also offer laser engraving allowing us to personalize most items. Don’t see what you’re looking for, you can always ask us about making a custom piece.

Meet Denny & Kathleen

Owners

The founders of Knock On Wood, Denny and Kathleen, are both retired first-responders who shared a dream of owning their own business doing the things they love. For Denny, it was his passion for woodworking and architectural salvage. Kathleen was inspired by her love for repurposing furniture and other home décor. In 2017 they both took a leap of faith and opened Knock On Wood in a small, 300 square foot storefront. Over the next year their business grew to the point they needed more space so, in 2019, they moved to their current location. They treat their customers as family and have quickly become part of the community.
